Pillar 2: Spiritual Formation
Pillar 2 turns attention inward so ministry can endure outwardly. Students are called to cultivate interior health, hear God in Scripture, establish prayer rhythms, and protect the soul from exhaustion, fragmentation, and unprocessed pain.
Purpose
"To form students in sustainable spiritual rhythms, healthy interior life, scriptural devotion, and faithful prayer."
Outcomes Checklist
- Understand the importance of soul care and emotional honesty.
- Develop a practical devotional rhythm rooted in Scripture and listening prayer.
- Embrace Sabbath and rest as part of Kingdom stewardship.
- Practice intercession from intimacy rather than anxiety or religious performance.

Month 5
The Devotional Life & the Word
Key Scriptures: Psalm 119; 2 Timothy 3:16
Lectio Divina; inductive Bible study; journaling as prophecy and a means of hearing God’s voice.
- Practical Focus: Weekly journal; inductive study of a Gospel.
Month 6
Prayer & Intercession
Key Scriptures: Matthew 6:5-13; Revelation 5:8
Tabernacle model; listening prayer; warfare and prophetic intercession from a place of rest.
- Practical Focus: Lead a prayer room session.
